Make your skin smile


The sun is shining and smiling so why shouldn’t you be? Herbalife beauty expert and Director of outer Nutrition Jacquie Carter reveals her tips on looking after our skin as the seasons change. Follow her step by step guide to help you give your skin a healthy, spring glow!    

Hands off

Our skin is in contact with a lot more than we can see, from pollution and dead skin cells to excess oils or make-up; all of which can wreak havoc on our skin. A healthy glowing complexion all starts with proper cleaning – and that means clean hands too! Any dirt left on the skin can clog pores and make the skin look rough, tired and uneven.

Beware of the sun

When it comes to staying healthy and fending off the signs of ageing, I really value the importance of sunscreen. Exfoliating is a favourite part of my beauty regime as it removes the dead skin cells from the surface of your skin. As teenagers, our bodies shed skin about every two weeks, on average. As we age, that process gets slower and slower; which is where a good exfoliating scrub comes in. If you want your products to deliver their maximum benefit, I recommend exfoliating once or twice a week with a scrub that is suitable for your skin type.

Moisturise, every day

When your skin is hydrated, it feels softer and has a radiant glow. Hydrated skin doesn’t come easily to most people. And remember, moisturiser is not just for the face, but also important for the body as well. We all should make it part of our daily regime to moisturise, from head to toe, each and every day.
